DailySteady is a private reset space for tracking habits, check-ins, urges, and progress. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can delete it.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to DailySteady, provided by DailySteady, including the web app and any mobile apps that use the same account and service.
Data we collect
Account data: email address, username, password hash if you sign up with email, optional Google sign-in identifiers, profile image from Google if available, verification status, session records, and password reset records.
App data: habits you create, minimum steps, life areas, daily mood check-ins, completions, rest days, streak freezes, missed-practice notes, urge logs, urge intensity, and whether an urge was delayed, redirected, or acted on.
Technical data: basic request, device, browser, security, and server log information that is created when you use the app or when our hosting and infrastructure providers operate the service.
How we use data
We use your data to create and secure your account, keep your dashboard private, save your daily progress, show weekly patterns, send verification and password reset emails, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and operate the service.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your DailySteady habits, mood logs, or urge logs for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the app, including hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers. If you use Google sign-in, Google processes the sign-in request according to its own terms and privacy policy.
These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services to us, comply with law, protect security, or prevent fraud and abuse.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account and app data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the account deletion page. Deleting your account removes your account record and associated app data unless we are legally required to keep limited information.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data, including private account sessions and hashed passwords. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
DailySteady is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact us so we can review and delete it.
